LGA is a TAP and COMMERCIAL dance associate programme founded by Lauren Gore in 2025.
Created for aspiring dancers, the programme delivers high level training in both Tap and Commercial styles.
Based in London, LGA delivers monthly training sessions that run alongside dancers’ regular weekly classes. The programme focuses on tap and commercial technique and choreography, while also developing performance quality, versatility and confidence. Dancers benefit from personalised mentoring and guest workshops led by industry professionals.
Lauren established LGA to provide dancers with the guidance, structure and insight often needed when pursuing a career in the performing arts. Through her strong connections with leading UK agencies and training institutions, students receive expert advice and support as they prepare for further education or professional opportunities.
LGA is an advanced training programme designed for dedicated dancers aged 10+ who are serious about building a future within the tap and commercial dance industry. While the training is intensive and focused, the programme also fosters a supportive and motivating environment where dancers are encouraged to grow both technically and personally.
I have always been passionate about nurturing dancers in both Tap and Commercial dance. In today’s industry, I believe these styles complement each other perfectly, yet I’m noticing a real gap in training that combines the two. Tap is often seen as an outdated discipline in many training programmes, but I believe that by integrating Tap and Commercial dance, we can create a more dynamic, versatile, and relevant foundation for dancers.
